  • LIOJ founded by Masahide Shibusawa, Rowland Harker, and Toneko Kimura.
  • Residential courses for college students offered (until 1972).
  • Language classes offered at LIOJ Tokyo (until 1976).

  • Team teaching classes conducted in Odawara city junior high schools in cooperation with the Odawara city board ofeducation (until 1993).

  • 小田原市教育委員会との提携により市内の中学校においてティームティーチングを開始(１９９３年まで)

  • Residential High School Intensive English Program established.

  • 高校生短期英語集中合宿講座開講

  • Thailand/Japan Team Teaching Exchange established in partnership with Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok (actively run through 1999).

  • シュリナカリンウィロット大学(バンコク)との提携により、タイ／日　ティームティーチング交換プログラム開講(２０００年以降休止中)

  • Team teaching classes conducted in Matsuda town junior high schools in cooperation with the Matsuda town board of education (until 2001).

  • 松田町教育委員会との提携により松田町の中学校においてティームティーチングを開始(２００１年まで)

  • Symposium on English Education in Asia held in commemoration of LIOJ's 30th anniversary.

  • Classes at Shiroyama Kindergarten started.

  • 城山幼稚園英語教育コース開始

  • International Understanding classes introduced into Hakone town elementary schools. A year later, team teaching classes introduced into Hakone junior high schools.

  • 箱根町教育委員会との提携により箱根町の小学校において国際理解教育プログラムを開始(翌年より中学校においてもティームティーチングを開始)
